Republic Chicken in Beaumont

Not all hartz chicken restaurants are created equal! I have eaten here few times and food is ok just not enough variety of sides on the buffet .

Sucks really bad food at expensi e prices

Ordered 15pc mix with sides.. The chicken had a chemical taste and smell today..not the norm..everyone in the house noticed it and couldn't eat it..not wanting a refund just want to know if we were exposed to cleaning chemicals that may been left in fryer..the ff had the same smell an taste today..the mash potatoes were fine..

I was actually surprised and pleased with the food offered here. It was clean and we'll lit, the food cooked well and rotated often for freshness. Don't see that often in a buffet style joint. And the prices were budget conscious too.

Was between lunch and dinner, Had to ask for some chicken to the buffet table! The things out where drying out or hard. It was a bad meal for the price (too expensive)

Everything is freshly cooked,and prepared daily.Monday, Wednesday,and Friday you can get homemade chicken and dumplings ,and cornbread muffins

It's was not all right. Chicken stripes were cold..

I am from the deep, deep South. Anyplace that serves chicken livers AND gizzards on their buffet will always get rave reviews from me. So far this makes a total of one place...Hartz Buffet. Rave on!

Food is great but the ppl who work there are rude. A buffet is one plate and their angry when you ask a question or for a extra plate. But the food was good. But😢 I want be going back on 11st business ever again.

Lots of various foods to choose from. Mostly chicken and sides etc. The food was decent. However we all had severe stomach aches after like immediately after. I'm not certain this is the cause but it seemed a little too coincidental. There were three of us and we literally barely made it up the road to a bathroom. It was bad. As far as the food itself n service it was pretty good. Not phenomenal to me. But cheap for a buffet and the people were friendly and the place was small and not crowded which I really liked

Me and my wife went Sunday, and we had very good service and enjoyed the atmosphere also.

Chicken always taste freshly cooked

Buffet was okay, could have been fresher. You could tell some of the items had been sitting for awhile, especially the two desserts.I was VERY impressed that as we were leaving, the young girl sweeping stopped & smiled and said, "Thank you for coming. Have a good day."!!! That in itself rates HIGH in my book.

Try their fried oreos and mochi ice cream it's to die for I would alone come just for that but ofc I got sushi as well its delicious and fresh the ozumo roll soooo good. The two ladies that waited on us were nice and accommodating when we needed more time to decide and when we needed refills. Definitely coming back.

Their food was not good. They were very rude and dishonest. My sister was fighting bone cancer. Most of the time she wouldn't eat. But she wanted to go there. We did. I will never go there again. They tell us to be nice and understanding to them. But what do you do when they do it to u?

I had not had any chicken from Hartz in along time & to my surprise nothing has changed. I was very delicious & tasty. I had a small order of coleslaw it was delicious as well.

Fresh, juicy, chicken! And the pricing was very reasonable, even for mixed (white and dark). Glad to be able to get more than legs and thighs and not break the bank!

I usually go at lunch time for the buffet maybe two or three times a year just to get my southern Fix! They have a Great Buffet with all kinds of chicken even chicken livers! And usually a good cobbler for dessert sweet tea and the usual cold drinks. A great place to get a satisfying meal quickly

Food was hot and ready quickly. Tenders and rolls are always great. Stepped out of my zone and got the dirty rice which was a mistake. But overall a great choice for something quick.

Usually get chicken or gizzards and livers which are excellent. Tried the crispy fish. Fish was mushy. Batter not so crispy. Tartar sauce good. Mashed potatoes taste like instant. Corn had been hanging out on the steam table for a while. Not bad but not wonderful. Courteous service. Stick with items they cook to order.

Good place to eat, cafeteria style all you can eat. Chicken very good.

Surprisingly good buffet with fried chicken, baked chicken, fried fish, livers and gizzards, plenty of hot veggies, fresh hot rolls, desserts, small cold salad bar. Very good value for the price.

It was a nice light outing....nice atmosphere......the food was tasty and the price was nice too......

Was ok great service food ok

Great place but everything taste very bland, Very little seasoning on the food. Would definitely recommend bringing a can of Tony Chachere's or Slap Ya Mama Seasoning to make the your food really really taste good. Other than that very great place.

Only giving it 1 star because it wouldn't let me do 0. Just finished eating there and I was very disappointed.buffet looked like its been sitting there from the day before.kept watching fresh rolls come out of oven never to be put where buffet buyer eater could get one..chicken was only dark meat.2 of use paid for buffet and the lady reached back grab 1 breast and put it in buffet.never to put anything else out.fountain drink was good..that all.save you money..never would go back
